| The Camping Certificate is obtained after taking a test to prove that we are good campers
and, more importantly, safe campers. This is a test that the Youth (11-18) can take to extend their membership
of the Youth to 21 as well as becoming responsible members of the club. The test involves fairly extensive training
and a weekend being self sufficient and observed. It was hard work! I am no longer a camper (more of a
caravanner) and have left the Youth (turned 21) but it still remains one of my favourite achievements. |
