Web Heaven was an updated version of Kyre's Place as I had purchased the domain www.web-heaven.co.uk.  I designed a new look whilst I decided how to proceed.

Stage 1 : Redesigning The Website

The first stage was to decide how to approach this redevelopment.  I decided to create a welcome section about Web Heaven & how I intended to use the website. My theme was to use the same background and banner throughout.

I used the "house" theme, from Kyre’s Place!!!, on another website I was developing so I decided upon a "Neon" theme as if within a party. This theme used blue Neon banners for the titles of each page and pink Neon buttons and dividers.

Stage 2 : Structuring the Website

The second stage was to check the structuring of the website. Also some dead links had occurred which needed to be fixed. To keep the initial page short I put all the links in Navigation Bars down the right and left. The actual content of the page was in the centre of the page. This page then linked to all the other pages.

Stage 3 : Developing the Website

Since this is a restructure and redesign of an existing site little development was required. However, significant research was undertaken to provide ideas for possible developments.

Stage 4 : Originality

I decided that the front page should be the most attractive & original. After searching through many images I came across an old wooden door. This gave me the idea to make the door open as if entering the website. Each section on the following page could be through more wooden doors with perspective (History, Kyre’s Website!!!, & Kyre’s Place!!!).

To make my website different to others to encourage visitors I used the "Banners & Bars" theme developed for Kyre's Place and adapted for Web Heaven.

I also consulted some Internet friends for suggestions on originality.

Stage 5 : Improvements

After consulting, via emails, some Web Designers of my acquaintance, it was suggested that I implement a contents list to enable easier navigation of the website. I also added new links to the website including a Graphics page which listed useful graphics sites.

Stage 6 : Alterations

Thus "Web Heaven" was completed.

After I purchased the domain www.web-heaven.co.uk I purchased two more domains www.hellbound.co.uk & www.lairs.co.uk. To utilise these domains I developed the next version of the site, Kyren Web, with three different sections.
